Organizational and Economic Mechanisms for Enhancing Ecotourism Development in Uzbekistan

This paper explores the organizational and economic mechanisms for enhancing ecotourism development in Uzbekistan. With its vast natural resources and diverse ecosystems, Uzbekistan has significant potential for ecotourism. However, the sector is underdeveloped, facing challenges such as insufficient infrastructure, limited local community involvement, and inadequate public-private cooperation. By employing a mixed-methods approach, this research analyzes the current state of ecotourism in Uzbekistan, identifying barriers and opportunities for growth. The study proposes strategies such as improving infrastructure, fostering public-private partnerships, and increasing local community participation. Drawing from international best practices, the paper provides actionable recommendations for policymakers to ensure sustainable ecotourism development in Uzbekistan. The findings emphasize the importance of eco-certification, green financing, and sustainable tourism practices to foster economic growth while protecting Uzbekistan’s natural and cultural heritage.
