Abstract

This article analyzes the economic and innovative prospects for developing regional beekeeping clusters in Uzbekistan, drawing on advanced international experience. It emphasizes the importance of introducing a cluster-based model as a key driver of innovative growth, allowing for integration between scientific institutions, entrepreneurs, and state support mechanisms. The research highlights that such a system increases productivity, strengthens export potential, and improves the overall competitiveness of the national beekeeping industry through innovation, cooperation, and technological modernization. The study also explores the structural elements of beekeeping clusters-production infrastructure, scientific centers, logistics chains, and marketing systems-and how their coordination contributes to sustainable regional development. Based on foreign practices and local conditions, the research proposes recommendations for forming effective beekeeping clusters that promote ecological balance, rural employment, and apitourism development, thereby supporting Uzbekistan’s transition toward an innovation-oriented and sustainable economy.
