Abstract
The integration of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in higher education has revolutionized the management of student records, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility. This paper explores the role of ICT in student record management, focusing on its impact on administrative processes, data security, and decision-making. Drawing on existing literature and case studies, the study highlights the benefits of ICT, including streamlined operations, improved data integrity, and enhanced student services. Challenges such as data privacy concerns, technical barriers, and resistance to change are also discussed. The paper concludes with recommendations for higher education institutions to optimize ICT integration in student record management systems.
