The Use of The Communicative Category of Tolerance in Political Discourse

This article examines the communicative category of tolerance within political discourse from a linguistic and pragmatic perspective. The study explores how tolerance is constructed, expressed, and strategically used by political actors to influence public perception and maintain social cohesion. The research identifies key linguistic tools, including lexical choices, discourse strategies, and pragmatic markers, that contribute to the expression of tolerance. The findings suggest that tolerance functions not only as a moral value but also as a communicative instrument in political interaction.
