Abstract
This study aims to analyze The Effectiveness Of The Regional Civil Service And Human Resource Development Agency In The Recruitment Process Of Civil Servants In Barito Timur Regency. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the suboptimal ASN recruitment process, characterized by the mismatch between recruitment results and organizational needs, formation planning that is not yet fully based on job analysis and workload, as well as limited utilization of information technology. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques thru interviews and documentation. Data analysis is conducted thru data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results indicate that the ASN recruitment process has been quite effective, particularly thru the implementation of a computer-based selection system that enhances transparency and objectivity. However, there are still positions that have not been optimally filled, limitations in technological infrastructure, and the need for improvement in the competence and adaptation of newly recruited ASN. Therefore, more thorough planning of ASN needs and support for infrastructure are required to improve the effectiveness of ASN recruitment.
