Abstract
The rapid advancement of digital technologies has fundamentally transformed the competitive environment of the banking sector, making digital maturity a critical determinant in formulating innovative development strategies for commercial banks. This study aims to develop scientific and methodological approaches to assessing the digital maturity of commercial banks as a strategic basis for enhancing innovation-driven growth. The research systematizes theoretical approaches to digital maturity assessment and identifies the key dimensions influencing banks' innovative development, including digital leadership, customer-centricity, digital products and services, business process digitalization, technological infrastructure, data-driven management, cybersecurity, ecosystem integration, and human capital development. Based on these dimensions, an integrated Digital Maturity Assessment Model (DMAM) is proposed to evaluate the level of digital transformation and support strategic decision-making. The study also develops a system of quantitative and qualitative indicators for measuring digital maturity and substantiates their application in selecting appropriate innovation development strategies. The proposed methodological framework enables commercial banks to identify digital capability gaps, prioritize strategic transformation initiatives, improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer value creation, and enhance long-term competitiveness under the conditions of the digital economy. The research findings contribute to the development of digital banking management theory and provide practical recommendations for improving strategic planning and innovation management in commercial banks.
