Abstract
The financial sustainability of technical colleges is increasingly affected by changes in public funding, rising operational costs, labour market requirements, growing competition, and the development of alternative vocational education providers. This article examines the role of educational service diversification in strengthening the financial sustainability of technical colleges. Particular attention is given to professional training, retraining, short-term qualification programmes, digital education, corporate training, dual education, and specialized practical courses. The results show that a balanced portfolio of educational services can reduce dependence on individual revenue sources, improve financial resilience, and create additional opportunities for institutional development. The study concludes that strategic diversification can contribute to long-term financial stability while improving the quality, relevance, and competitiveness of technical education.
