Abstract
The rapid development of digital technologies is transforming professional education and creating new requirements for institutional management, innovation capacity, and workforce preparation. This study aims to develop a strategic management mechanism for innovation processes in professional education institutions under digital economy conditions. The research combines systems, process, competence-based, innovation, collaborative, human-capital, digital-transformation, and data-driven approaches. A SWOT analysis was applied to identify internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats affecting digital management. The empirical component included a survey of participants in the educational process; however, the source manuscript does not provide the sample size or detailed statistical distributions, and therefore no unsupported quantitative estimates are introduced. Based on the conceptual analysis and SWOT findings, a three-stage practical model was developed: preparation and diagnostics; implementation and integration; and monitoring and improvement. The proposed mechanism integrates strategic planning, cluster cooperation, digital management, resource management, and quality monitoring. The study concludes that an integrated digital management mechanism can strengthen institutional decision-making, improve resource utilization, align educational outcomes with labor-market requirements, and contribute to the competitiveness of professional education and regional economic development.
