Abstract
This article examines the development characteristics of private higher education institutions through a comparative analysis. The study compares the experiences of Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea, and Türkiye, focusing on governance models, financing mechanisms, educational quality, international cooperation, and innovation-driven development within the private higher education sector. Based on the IMRAD methodology, the research identifies the key factors influencing the development of private higher education institutions and provides scientific and practical recommendations for improving their performance in the context of Uzbekistan.
