Abstract

The article provides a systematic analysis of the legal and institutional, organisational, strategic, economic, financial, control, information, digital and ESG elements of the corporate governance mechanism at construction industry enterprises. The purpose of the research is to identify the interrelation of these elements and the channels through which they affect the economic efficiency of an enterprise. On the basis of institutional, systemic and comparative analysis, an author’s model linking the elements of corporate governance to economic results and an integral assessment index are proposed. The results serve to raise the quality of decisions, the efficiency of resource use, financial stability and investment attractiveness at construction enterprises.
