Abstract

The article investigates the manipulative effects of new-generation AI tools – deepfake technologies, generative artificial intelligence, and algorithmic governance – on the consciousness of youth. The research identifies four main channels of digital manipulation targeting young people: synthetic media, exploitation of personal data, emotional manipulation, and algorithmic worldview formation. Based on Uzbekistan’s legal-political documents in the AI field, the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy, and international experience, proposals are formulated for shaping a multi-level national model to protect youth from digital manipulation.
