Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the digital economy, exploring the mechanisms of its impact on accelerating economic growth and systematically reducing poverty. It examines the role of key technologies—such as artificial intelligence, e-commerce, cloud computing, and big data—in enhancing productivity and reducing transaction costs. Furthermore, the study explores opportunities to improve population welfare through financial inclusion, platform employment, and the creation of modern professions. Alongside the advantages of digital transformation, critical challenges such as the digital divide and structural unemployment are objectively addressed, and strategic recommendations are developed to mitigate them.
