Abstract
This article discusses the economic analogue of the Law of Universal Gravitation discovered by Isaac Newton — the Economic Gravity Model. The theoretical foundations of the model and its role in international trade, foreign direct investment, and labor migration are examined. The Central Asian region and Uzbekistan’s foreign economic relations are also analyzed in the context of this model.
