Abstract

The paper explores the psychological ways through which color serves as a communication and emotional tool in the fashion industry. It is clear from the findings that colors serve as both biologically triggered stimuli and cultural symbols, and fashion firms use the existing meanings of colors to build an emotional relationship with their customers. The article finds that a well-structured knowledge of the psychology of colors would help fashion firms build their brand identity and affect customers' decision-making.
