Abstract
The main goal of the reconstructive work carried out on the basis of the concept of the new general plan of the city of Samarkand was to give it a new Essence, more strongly expressing that it is a historical-cultural center.
Samarkand architectural patterns and style are now widely used on a global scale (for example, in the construction of mosques and palaces in foreign countries), ensuring the continuity of historical traditions.
