The article highlights the pedagogical and psychological aspects of the process of vocational guidance for primary school students. The study analyzes children's age characteristics, interests, individual abilities, and level of psychological development as important factors in career choice. Additionally, the importance of methodological approaches and modern pedagogical technologies and interactive methods for the effective organization of vocational guidance work at the primary education level is substantiated. The article analyzes pedagogical prerequisites aimed at fostering a positive attitude toward labor in students, expanding initial ideas about professions, and developing creative and independent thinking. The study highlights the cooperation between teachers, parents, and the social environment as an important factor in increasing the effectiveness of the vocational guidance process. The results obtained confirm the necessity of applying a systematic, targeted, and psychologically grounded approach to the vocational guidance of primary school students. Such an approach creates a foundation for children to consciously choose their future profession and serves their development as individuals. Taking into account the age characteristics of the educational process, it is recommended to widely develop interactive methods, establish effective cooperation with parents and society, and organize special methodological courses for teachers.
