Abstract
This study examines seasonality challenges, organizational resilience, and adaptive strategies within Uzbekistan’s hospitality sector. The article explores how strategic planning, technological adaptation, stakeholder collaboration, and financial preparedness contribute to crisis resilience among hotels and restaurants facing seasonal downturns. The study integrates Resource-Based Theory, Dynamic Capabilities Theory, and Stakeholder Theory to explain resilience mechanisms within emerging hospitality markets. The analysis highlights the unique contextual features of Uzbekistan’s hospitality industry, including its rapid post-pandemic recovery, growing tourism market, and evolving managerial culture. Findings suggest that resilience in this sector is strengthened through adaptive leadership, workforce flexibility, service innovation, and investment in digital tools. At the same time, persistent challenges—such as limited crisis training, financial constraints, and dependency on external shocks—continue to influence performance outcomes. Recommendations are offered to support future strategic planning and strengthen the crisis-readiness of hospitality businesses in Uzbekistan.
