Abstract
This study examined industrial conflict management and employees’ morale within oil palm estates in South West Region of Cameroon. Specifically, the study examined how collective bargaining, conciliation, mediation, negotiation impacts employees’ morale within oil palm estates in South West Region of Cameroon. Literature were reviewed thematically on the key variables of the study- collective bargaining, conciliation, mediation, and negotiation. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey research design. The study area was South West Region of Cameroon. The sample size was four hundred (400) respondents selected using multi-stage sampling techniques, and data were gathered via structured questionnaire. Simple Linear Regression was used to analyse the quantitative data. The findings of the study established that collective bargaining significantly impact employees’ morale within oil palm estates in South West Region of Cameroon. Furthermore, the findings revealed that conciliation, mediation, negotiation impact employees’ morale within oil palm estates in South West Region of Cameroon. The study recommended among other things that the creation of a platform for dialogue, communication and collective bargaining approaches with all the stakeholders of the oil palms plantation sector in the South West Region of Cameroon, must be given priority.
